Suit Diving

The wetsuit is a special suit diving to practice different water sports like windsurfing, kitesurfing or bodyboarding. Its main function is to protect athletes from the cold, and avoid some common injuries or shock. Today, these costumes are made of neoprene and synthetic rubber. American physicist Hugh Bradner, is considered the inventor of the modern wetsuit in 1951. He came up with the idea of adding a thin layer to the suit, which serve as an insulator. Thus, the water that inevitably came to leak, would not be quite cool to make contact with the person suit diving. Over the years, different designers have been improving their clothing. Wetsuits must fulfill their function, without reducing flexibility swimmer. According to the temperature of the water in which to use, you can choose different thickness measurements for the costume.
Today, those who practice diving, using an appropriate mask, fins and snorkel, some thermo-insulation suit also depends on the type of apnea that are running. However, the apnea has come to have many followers, because at the beginning only a few meters down, however, after it has become competitive by the numbers of declines and especially by the time under water has been increasingly durable. Moreover, to practice this sport, it takes more to be in perfect physical condition, it also requires years of training and dedication, good food, among others suit diving.

(Amend section). The wetsuit is a wet suit worn by followers of scuba diving, underwater hunters and snorkelers to protect themselves from the cold. In diving, the heat losses are important because of the heat exchange between water and skin of swimmers. It is therefore necessary to protect themselves, more or less complete, depending on water temperature, depth and duration of the dive suit diving. The wetsuits are made for the majority of neoprene, a black rubber material, of variable thickness (from 3 to 10 mm) that preserves the diver from the cold while allowing some freedom of movement. The wet suit is unique in letting water. This thin layer of water between the skin and the combination is heated during the dive. But the flow of water caused by the movements, tends to replace the heated fluid. In general it consists of a jacket, trousers and a pair of slippers. We can add a pair of gloves and a hood suit diving. However, currently, the trend is the combination consists of a one-piece coverall, a hood and a removable shorty (shorty). This modular system makes it possible to dive in tropical sea and sea moderated. The dry suit diving is unusual not to let any water (it is the combination of James Bond). One can find three different models, the combination of neoprene, the wetsuit compressed, and the combination with tri-laminate composed of three layers of different fabrics with less insulation but with increased resistance to tearing. It is connected directly to the bottle in order to inject air. This regulator is also called a direct-system suit diving. This feature allows you to adjust its buoyancy from the suit. There lies the danger with this type of clothing for users not accustomed to. The air can circulate freely inside, can be concentrated in the foot with an untrained user, which can lead to a rise of feet up. The dry suit diving can also harbor one or more layers of clothing underneath, which is inevitable even with the trilaminate because of its lack of insulation. Technical divers who use trimix or heliox, because of the high thermal conductivity of helium, often use a small bottle of argon (more expensive but better insulator than air) and a separate regulator to inflate their combination.
